COWBOY SINGER and poet Slim McWilliams will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, March 9, at the Montezuma Valley Presbyterian Church, 350 S. Washington in Cortez. He has recorded two CDS, “Forty Years’ Gatherin’s” and “Day Workin’ Cowboy,” with songs new, old, original and spiritual, all sung in McWilliams’ bass voice. The performance is free, and the public is invited to stay for dessert afterward.
