The Dolores track and field team entered spring break with some solid performances at Cedaredge last Saturday.
Cydney McHenry led the Lady Bears with second-place finishes in the 100- and-300-meter hurdles in 16.91 and 48.65. Teammate Brianna Schwartz was close behind in each event at sixth- and-fifth-place, clocking in at 18.06 and 51.96.
Lexi Atkinson was the runner-up in the 100-meter dash, finishing in 13.31. She also placed eighth in the long jump with a leap of 14-08.75.
Michelle Kline sprinted to a third-place time of 1:04.53 in the 400.
Moki Younquist led the Bears in the 110- and-300-hurdles with seventh-place finishes of 17.34 and 44.52.
Dolores will compete at Bayfields Pine River Invitational on Saturday, April 14, beginning at 9 a.m.
