Teens from Cortez and across the United States now have the chance to attend an archaeology camp at the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center this summer with the support of a full scholarship. Crow Canyon announced today that several scholarships are available for its Middle School Archaeology Camp, High School Archaeology Camp, and High School Field School, including a scholarship for American Indians.
Crow Canyons teen camps and High School Field School offer opportunities for students to excavate alongside archaeologists in the field, analyze artifacts in the lab, visit archaeological sites, and learn about the cultural chronology of the Mesa Verde region.
Scholarship application deadlines are approaching (deadlines vary for each program).
