The Cortez Knights of Columbus Council 4209 is pleased to announce that the Knights Memorial Scholarship for this year has been awarded to Michael Sparks. Michael is a 2012 graduate of Dolores High School and is currently planning to study civil engineering at Oregon Institute of Technology. A check for $1,000 will be sent, and the funds will be made available to Michael for payment toward tuition and fees, books and supplies, meals and any other legitimate school related expenses.
