The following area students presented research projects at Fort Lewis Colleges Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 19:
Trevor Downing of Mancos presented GIS and Soil Analysis to Determine Slope Stability and Trail Opportunities: Lake Nighthorse, Durango, CO. Downings major is geology environmental geology option.
Logan Ott of Mancos presented Piezoelectric Biosensors, along with fellow student Jay Engstrom. Otts major is physics engineering physics option.
Jennifer Ulrich of Dolores presented Nitrate Loading: An Analysis of Land-Use Impacts on Topsoils within the Rio Java Watershed, Las Cruces Biological Research Station, Costa Rica. Ulrichs major is geology environmental geology option.
