Edward J. Zubrzycki, 36, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of protection order violation. He was sentenced to 60 days in jail consecutive with case number 11M271 in Montezuma County Court. Defendant was also sentenced to 12 months probation, concurrent with La Plata County DUI case. He was ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs. If defendant applies for, is admitted to, and fully completes inpatient treatment, he will receive day to day credit. Defendant is ordered to obtain an anger management evaluation and follow all recommendations.
Edward J. Zubrzycki, 36, of Cortez, pleaded no contest to one count of harassment strike/shove/kick and received a deferred sentence. This sentence is concurrent with case number 11M363 in Montezuma County Court. Defendant admits violation and is sentenced to 30 days jail concurrent with case number 11M271. Twelve months probation deferred sentence is revoked. Defendant was also ordered to pay $202.50 in fines and costs, and must perform 32 hours of useful public service/community service.
Edward J. Zubrzycki, 36, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of assault in the third degree knowingly/recklessly causing injury. Defendant was sentenced to 1 year in jail and ordered to pay $447.80 in fines and costs. Six months of this sentence will run concurrent with La Plata County cases and six months will run consecutive with La Plata County cases. Defendant must obtain a domestic violence evaluation and follow all recommendations. He must report compliance to the court by September of 2013. Failure to do so may result in defendant being held in contempt of court. Defendant shall not contract any financial obligations without approval of the collections investigator/probation officer.
Waylon C. Whiteman, 28, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of defrauding an innkeeper $1,000 or less. He was sentenced to 5 days in jail with 3 days credit for time served. Defendant was ordered to pay $207.25 in fines and costs.
Chelsey A. Galyon, 20, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of harassment strike/shove/kick. She received a deferred sentence of 12 months unsupervised probation and was ordered to pay $341.50 in fines and costs. She was ordered to complete a domestic violence evaluation and follow all recommendations and provide proof to the court of completion within 12 months. Defendant shall not contract any financial obligations without approval of the collection investigator. She must follow all terms and conditions of probation, and must violate no laws traffic or criminal. Defendant must keep her address current with the court.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6
Antone Jacket, 30, of Towaoc, pleaded guilty to one count of criminal mischief $500 to $1,000. He was sentenced to 12 months supervised state probation, and was ordered to pay $829.50 in fines and costs. He was ordered to follow all terms and conditions of probation. Restitution is open for 90 days. Defendant must complete 24 hours of useful public service/community service by Dec. 6, 2012. Payment of restitution is a condition of probation.
Oscar Robert Dedman, 27, of Chinle, Ariz., pleaded guilty to one count of false reporting false identification. He was ordered to pay $284.50 in fines and costs.
Garilynn Tsinijinnie, 25, of Chinle, Ariz., pleaded guilty to one count of false reporting false identification. She was ordered to pay $284.50 in fines and costs.
Cheryl Lynn Watchman, 33, of Chinle, Ariz., pleaded guilty to one count of false reporting false identification. She was ordered to pay $284.50 in fines and costs.
Angelo Dean House, 19, of Cortez, pleaded guilty to one count of protection order violation civil. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail and ordered to pay $184.50 in fines and costs.
