Pet of the Week

Pet of the Week

Free hugs await the person lucky enough to adopt this beautiful gray and white spayed female with a top-notch personality. Smoky is pretty young — about a year and a half old. She is very affectionate and absolutely loves people. A long-legged girl, she has dramatic gray-on-white markings, including a near-perfect circle on one side. Smoky also has really spectacular yellow and lime-green eyes. She gets along great with other cats, too. If given her druthers, she prefers to be inside, but is also able to go out. Please consider bringing this terrific girly to your abode so she will finally get to experience the joy of a forever home. Also available are many kittens and some other friendly adult cats that are down on their luck, but who still love humans. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on alternate Fridays. They will be open this Friday. Right now, the shelter desperately needs scented bleach, Purina or Iams kitten food, liquid laundry soap and big rawhide chews to keep the dogs occupied. Ask how you can be a shelter volunteer even for just one hour a week. For more information, call the shelter at 565-4910.
