Susan Merillat grinned Wednesday as she stood inside her new shop.
I am so excited and grateful to be back home in Dolores, she said.
Merillat is in the process of opening her salon in Dolores and was already styling clients hair.
Merillat operated Tangles in Dolores 2 ½ years ago.
Ive been waiting for the prime location on Railroad to come open. And here I am, she said.
Her salon will be located at 313 Railroad Ave., next to The Flying Pig.
Merillat has been a stylist for 30-plus years and her clients were excited to see her back.
I specialize in hair, she smiled. And that means all types.
Tammie Goodall said she was thrilled to see Merillat back in Dolores.
Susan is the best I have ever seen with hair color, Goodall said. And I have had my hair done all over the world.
Merillat has extensive training in hair color.
I love hair color, she said. From the very subtle to extreme high fashion, with many bold, multi-color effects.
Merillat uses Goldwell colors, which is the No. 1 hair color in the world, she said.
Tangles will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Evening appointments can be made available by request. Call Tangles at 882-8856 for an appointment.
