Many thanks go to all that contributed to make the Cortez Annual Christmas Dinner a tremendous success in 2017.

Volunteers led by Sharon King and her daughters, Brandon Schubert of Stonefish Sushi, Greg Kemp, Larry and Sandy Tradelener, and a host of cooks and servers made Christmas special for everyone.

As a total community event for over 27 years, the Cortez Cultural Center volunteers took telephone requests prior to Christmas for home meal deliveries and volunteer signups. Cliffrose and Four Seasons Nurseries provided poinsettias. M-CHS FFA and Safeway donated fruit. Turkeys from CitiMarket, com from El Grande Diner, rolls from Walmart, coffee from Spruce Tree Expresso House, and music from Donnie Johnson all helped to make this a very happy day.

Thanks again for financial contributions from the public, Kiwanis of Cortez, the Lions Club, Vectra and Four Corners Community Banks.

Contributions are accepted all year long at these banking institutions.
