Drop Top Lincoln will be performing at the Sugar Pine Ranch Rally on Thursday evening at 5 p.m. They formed in 2009 with lead guitarist Casey Smart and bassist Chris Howard. A new sound quickly developed using high octane guitar riffs over solid country/blues bass. Drummer Jack Chipchase soon joined the project and the foundation was in place. With a very distinct sound in mind, vocalist Scotty Waters was the last piece added to form the final roster.
Drop Top Lincoln has a style that has been labeled everything from garage country to electric hillbilly; with comparisons to acts such as Cross Canadian Ragweed and Shooter Jennings. We prefer the label, Gutterbilly.
What is Gutterbilly? Drop Top Lincoln is gutterbilly. Its playng a Danelectro guitar with a beer bottle. Its using a rusty skillet as a percussion instrument. Its love songs about cars, and strippers ... and beer. Drop Top Lincolns brand of gutterbilly is the moonshine of music: its smooth, powerful, and high alcohol content.

TURN THE PAGE will be the 9 p.m. Saturday night band and they actually came about as a side project for their original Southern Rock band, The Sam Morrison Band. They needed to add a few Southern/Classic Rock cover songs, played a couple of Bob Seger tunes and the response they got was UNBELIEVABLE!
No matter where they would perform, they constantly received requests to do more and more Bob Seger. They decided to add a keyboard player, two female back-up singers and a saxophone player in order to fully re-create the Bob Seger Live experience.
Its amazing to see how todays younger generation are discovering the classic rock bands we grew up with. Everywhere you look you see Jr. High aged kids wearing Led Zepplin and AC/DC T-Shirts. The new Guitar Hero video game is fueling the fire even more. The new TV spot for Guitar Hero features Bob Segers song Old Time Rock and Roll and were seeing the kids go crazier than the adults when we play that one!
