The Mancos High School football team is raising funds for their safety and weight room equipment by having a drawing for a Savage .17 HMR rifle with scope. A recommended donation of $5 will get your name in the drawing and the tickets can be found at P & D Grocery and Coxs Conoco in Mancos, and Superior Auto in Cortez.
The drawing is sponsored by Kopp Ranch, Slavens True Value and Cox Conoco. (The winner must be 21 years of age and pass a background check. The winner is responsible for a $25 transfer fee and must pick up the gun locally.)
The drawing will be at Homecoming on Oct. 12, 2012.
