No one has been arrested and there are no longer any solid leads in the arson fire that destroyed the Hollywood Bar and Grill and Fusion Studios late Aug. 2, according to Lt. Meador with the Montezuma County Sheriffs Department.
The fire was ruled as arson shortly after the buildings burned when investigators discovered what appeared to be a large amount of gasoline on the patio behind the bar.
The fire left both buildings gutted and two apartments inhabitable from heat damage.
Meador said that there have been no tips on the case, even though the Colorado Bureau of Investigation is offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for starting the fire.
Its not looking good, Meador said.
Meanwhile, a memorial continues to grow out in front of the Hollywood, which includes empty liquor bottles, flowers and notes, and on Wednesday, motorcyclists slowly drove by looking at the bars charred remains.
