Dear Editor:



The 2012 Summer Reading Program, “Dream Big, Read,” at the Dolores Public Library is officially over. I would like to thank the many people who helped to make it a success this year. Thank you to those who presented exciting programs: Kaci and Bailey Schurr, Tom Butler, Brett Brunner and Simon Condon, Gabi Morey, Evan Moore, Ben Wolcott and the other Boy Scouts.

Thank you to all the children who participated, the parents and teachers who supported us, the school for help in promoting the SRP, and my fellow librarians for help in recording all books read.

Thank you to Miss Lynne and Kristin Pejsa and Faith for their dedicated help with the programs.

Thank you to Osprey Packs, The Depot, Dolores General Store, and Friends of the Library for providing incentive prizes.

The State Library provided a LSTA Grant with which we purchased $250 worth of books for the library.

And of course, thank you to Shannon at the Dolores Star for providing coverage for us in the newspaper.
