I was at the adoption, and must have seen these poor horses loaded. I think the mare in the photo is Ember, but I dont know who the Williams family adopted with her.
Those body scores are dangerously low, especially the 1. They should have been immediately transported to a local veterinarian for a thorough examination and held there until the vet released them. Thats the second step in the chain of evidence for prosecution
If they didnt go to a vet, I hope the agency knows how to handle their rehabilitation. If they go to the prison at Canon City, I sincerely doubt theyll get the expert, slow and easy care they need.
