Christina Helton has been chosen as the Mancos Student Athlete of the Week. Christina was selected for her positive attitude at practice and games as she sets a great example for her teammates and classmates. She has a passion for cheerleading and has been at every practice, fundraiser, and game, ready to work. She has even created cheers which she has taught to the team. When the opportunity arises, she steps up to the plate and takes charge without hesitating. There is no doubt that Christina deserves recognition for her hard work and dedication both on the field and in the classroom.
