Mike Pasquin has been hired as the new emergency manager for Montezuma County. He replaces Paul Hollar, who moved from the area. Pasquin comes with 30 years of experience in the Air Force. He graduated from Montezuma-Cortez High School in 1975. As emergency manager, Pasquin said he will be focusing on further developing the county’s Emergency Operation Center to aid the public in a disaster. “I will be working to conduct trainings, equip, and organize our EOC so the county is ready to respond during an emergency,” he said. “Thanks for giving me the chance to serve the community.”
