Buehrer graduates Air Force

Kevin Buehrer graduated from Military Flight School at Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, on May 22, 2011, where he received his pilots wings. Buehrer recently completed a 10-year military term at Lakenheath AFB in England, where he was a military instructor of new crew chiefs. A fourth-generation family member who has served our nation proudly, he has enjoyed his military career. He plans to continue his career as an Air Force pilot. His proud family are parents, Richard and Debra Buehrer of Dove Creek; and grandparents H.A. and Shirley Hutchings, and Margaret Calder of San Antonio.

M-CHS grad Walker receives two degrees

Kathleen Rene Walker received the degrees of Associate of Science with a major in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Science with a specialization in Hotel Management, Resort Management concentration from Johnson & Wales University on May 21, 2011. Kathy resides in Denver, Colo. and is currently employed with Hyatt Place at Denver International Airport. She is a 2007 graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School.
