DOLORES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL collected approximately 1,025 non-perishable food items and donated everything to Hope’s Kitchen in Cortez. All items were loaded into the back of the truck. Pictured here is Mrs. Wade’s kindergarten class, which collected the most out of all the classes at 154 items; Mrs. Neeley’s third-grade class also was a top collector at 150 items. Both classes will receive root beer floats for all of their efforts!
