At the special Rico Town Board meeting held on Dec. 5, under New Business, the agenda was presented for approval. Members of the Town Board approved the agenda as submitted.
Item 1. Executive Session: CRS Section 24-6-402 (4) (f) Personnel Matters regarding Employees Consideration. The Town approved to go into executive session. Out of executive session the special meeting was called back to order.
Item 2. The Consideration of 2nd Reading for Ordinance No. 2012-2, Adopting the Year 2013 Town Budget, Appropriating Sums of Money and Setting and Certifying Town Mill Levies. Town Manager Michael England asked if there were any questions about the budget. Being there is no comment, David Kunz made a motion to approve the 2nd Reading for Ordinance No. 2012-2, Adopting the Year 2013 Town Budget, Appropriating Sums of Money and Setting and Certifying Town Mill Levies. Gary Reid seconded the motion. All voted in favor.
Item 3. The Consideration of 2nd Reading for Ordinance No. 2012-3, Amending the 2012 Budget to Reflect Additional Revenues and Expenditures. Town Manager Michael England stated there were two amendments made to the 2012 Budget. In the General Fund for the River Corridor. In the Street Fund for the purchasing of the backhoe. Also the Employees Consideration for $4,640.00 from General Fund. David Kunz made a motion to approve the 2nd Reading for Ordinance No. 2012-3, Amending the 2012 Budget to Reflect Additional Revenues and Expenditures and seconded by Gary Reid. All voted in favor.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
At the regular Town Board meeting on Dec. 19, Town Maintenance Dennis Swank reported that the town worked with BWR on the water line and water plant. Mr. Swank stated he also worked on tire chains for town equipment and repaired a small water leak on River Street. The backhoe is back from John Deere, they replaced a water temperature sensor and the backhoe is running fine. Alacran Woodwork informed the town that the heater went out at their business on Main Street. Sparks Plumbing repaired the heater and is back in business. Tire chains have been put on all equipment for the winter.
