Mr. and Mrs. Monte Johnson are the proud new parents of a baby boy born on Saturday, Feb. 3, at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez. He weighed in at 5 lbs. 14 1/2 ozs. and has been named Brandon James. Maternal grandparents are Mrs. Jean Koenig of Dolores and Tony Barnes of Tucson, Arizona. Paternal grandmother is Mrs. Bebe Hedges of Cortez.

Visitors are now being allowed at the Vista Grande Nursing Home again. Visiting hours were discontinued for a period of time due to the flu epidemic but they are now being resumed.

Final figures for the 1973 winter term at Fort Lewis College show 2,220 students have registered. Last year at the same time, 2,040 students had registered.

Stacy Koenig is in Albuquerque this week taking tests for Airborne. Stacy has enlisted in the Army and has passed his physical. He will leave for basic training after graduation from high school in the spring.
