The music scene in Dolores has been busy, and it won't be hard in the following months for you to find some good live music.

For example, one of Durango's favorite bands, The Lawn Chair Kings, will play at the Dolores River Brewery Friday, July 18 at 8:30 p.m. This band is a local favorite too.

And don't miss the Beach Party at Riverfront Bar and Grill Saturday July 19 starting at 4 p.m. featuring local favorite band, Sol Mesa Band.

What's cooking at the campground

Anybody craving wood-fired pizza? Sweetwater Gypsies is offering their yummy, one-of-a-kind pizza at the Dolores River Campground on Wednesday evenings. These gals always make the best pizzas with unique and local ingredients.

Also at the Dolores River Campground, I am told, Rose Jergens, who is a newly certified yoga teacher is teaching yoga classes there on Monday and Friday from 9:30-10:30, open to everyone.
