A Ute Mountain Ute tribal council election was held Friday in Towaoc for one open seat. Lyndreth Wall won with 187 votes. The tribal council includes Chairman Manuel Heart; Selwyn Whiteskunk; Alston Turtle; Archie House Jr.; Darwin Whiteman Jr.; Malcom Lehi, representing White Mesa; and Wall.
