Update: Crash kills three people on U.S. 491 south of Cortez

A crash on U.S. Highway 491 near the New Mexico line shut down traffic north to Cortez on Monday morning as law enforcement officers continued its investigation and cleared vehicles from the scene. U.S. Highway 160, which continues west to the Four Corners Monument, remained open.
